Born in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Moved to Surinam in 1978 (Dutch Colony at 7 years age). At the age of 17 entered Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands and specialised in Concrete Floating Structures and Concrete Technology (1995).

Last 6 years research on Ultra High Performance Concrete. Project advisor for companies in The Netherlands, South-Korea, Indonesia, Ukraine, Russia, Angola, Bonaire, Brazil, Turkey, Iran, Greece, Philippines, India and Surinam.

2009-2010 Project leader repair and building of the Kapels bridge in Delft. (concrete bridge for cars and trams) Advisor to the county of Delft concerning the design options, architecture, presentation to county architectural committee and total engineering of the new bridge. Work concerned offer preparation for design, weekly project team meetings; meetings with client and cables en pipelines coordination, design team guidance.

2008 Design team leader at Tebodin concerning the design of all the concrete structures for a Bioethanol plant in Rotterdam. Guidance and checking the work of 5 structural engineers and 3 draftsmen.

2006-2007  Second design leader for building the civil structures of the largest oil refinery in Romania. Building budget 1 Billion Euro. Review and guidance of all the engineering work done by local Romanian engineers. The structures consist of steel pipe racks, exchangers, vessels, reactor structures and foundations, heater structure and foundation. Also experience in earthquake resistant design of structures in Romania one of the heaviest earthquake arias in the world.

2005  Project leader and design leader for a railway tunnel of 150m length in Leidschenveen, the Netherlands. Work consisted of contract discussions, negotiations concerning design aspects, Meetings with the client, technical certification, outsourcing of work, budgeting construction. Checking all design calculations and drawings.

2005  Design, cost estimating and construction planning of a concrete floating breakwater of 1800m length for the harbour of Jebel Ali in Dubai.
